Well Youth Conference is finally over. We had 27 teenagers and 6 leaders (we were seriously outnumbered). Flaming Gorge was fun but hot. The trees aren't very tall but the cliff jumping and rafting is a blast. Lots of cooking went on, and eating of course!! We didn't see many critters but one doe (female deer) who wasn't the least bit afraid of us and hung next to the side of the road snacking when we drove by. Tons of big fish and baby fish in the water which caused some concern for a few of the girls but they got over it. The cliff we jumped off of was around 18 feet high and when you add your height to that you are looking at over 23 feet off the water... crazy!! We loved the river rafting and had some guys from Ogden take us on in water fights. They tossed several of our girls in the water but our guys kicked their trash. Yeah!! The kids bonded really well and there wasn't any drama...how nice! Time to sleep all this fun off.
